Merry Christmas!

Dit jaar hangt The Wish-quilt alweer voor de 4e keer in onze woonkamer. Als ik de quilt heb opgehangen, hoor ik wel een paar keer: "deze vind ik zoo leuk".

This year it is the fourth year that The Wish-quilt has got a place in our living room. When I put the quilt up, I hear quite a few times: "I find this so cute".

De Wishquilt is een ontwerp van Bronwyn Hayes van Red Brolly en is in 3 delen gepubliceerd in het Australische blad Homespun. Afgelopen jaar heeft ze de patronen ook op haar blog gepubliceerd. Dus als je de quilt ook wilt maken, kun je de patronen nu gratis downloaden!

The Wishquilt is designed by Bronwyn Hayes of Red Brolly and is published in 3 editions of the Australian magazine Homespun. Last year she has published the patterns on her blog. So if you want to make this quilt aswel, you can download the patterns for free!

Tijdens het maken van de quilt, in de zomer van 2009, werd ik er al helemaal happy van!  Ik laat de Wishquilt lekker hangen tot ver na Kerstmis..

During the time that I was making the quilt, in the summer of 2009, I already became quite happy with it! I will keep the Wishquilt up there nicely until well after Christmas ..
